From healthcare to the oil industry and completely in place!
When Femke started as an administrative assistant at Koeweit Oil Trading in April 2024, she left behind 30 years in healthcare. Quite a career switch, with no experience in the oil business, but with an open mind and a large dose of curiosity.
It is now impossible to imagine our location without Femke. She loves the variety, the customer contact and working in a close-knit team where everyone puts their shoulders to the wheel. “No day is the same,” she says and that suits her perfectly.
What gets us is her drive to keep learning about the disposal of waste oil. She is already thinking carefully about getting her truck driving license. That typifies Femke: daring, tackling, growing.
The past period was all about change, growth and cooperation. Femke plays an important role in this and contributes to the development of the team, exactly what we as an organization stand for.
Femke as first link in waste management
Within her role, Femke ensures that customer requests are quickly and correctly routed to the appropriate departments. Whether it concerns the coolant collection, the having brake fluid drained whether it intake of oil filters, she is often the first point of contact in the administrative process. She monitors progress and ensures that all data is complete and up-to-date.
