Koeweit Oil Trading installed as many as 227 smart sensors in one month on tanks for waste oil. In recognition of this achievement, we received a gold sensor from our sensor supplier: special recognition for the rapid rollout and successful use of smart sensoring in practice.

These smart sensors allow us to monitor the filling level of waste oil tanks in real time. This allows us to collect exactly on time, avoid waste and reduce the number of transport movements. That means: less CO₂ emissions as well as lower costs for the customer.

In our high-tech plant, this oil is upcycled into high-quality base oil or lubricants.
